I Love You Grandpa

Grandpa I love you so,
And, oh, what would I do?
And how would I learn to fish and camp,
If I didn’t have you?

You teach me how to fish, you fix my bike,
You do so much for me.
If you didn’t do all these things,
What a mess my life would be!

I need you Grandpa so when I grow to be a man,
I can teach my little boy these things.
I’ve learned a lot of lessons from you Grandpa,
And all the joy a Grandpa brings.

You always do the right things,
And like you I want to be.
You teach me all these good things,
The way of life that I should see.

You are kind and helpful,
You love me this I know.
Your sweet and gentle kindness follows,
Everywhere you go!
