Lord always teach me
to walk with You
That I will obey and follow Your steps,
Help me always to never stray from You,
There are many dangers, I can run into.
Help me Lord to not take steps
Without talking to You of Your way,
I want to obey Your will and word,
Following You Lord, I cannot stray.
Lord there are days I cannot see
Storms rise high and cloud my sight,
I then reach out to hold Your hand,
You send Your love, it helps me stand.
I will obey for You will light my path
Even when I cannot see, You are near.
Lord I will trust in You and hide,
You are my strength and daily guide.
God each new day You grant me wisdom
So I can learn and love You more,
You are mine, my praise and my worship,
You are my Light today and for evermore.
