Deliverance
Oh, Lord I beg of You,
Please bless me today,
I don’t see how Lord,
I can travel on this way.
There is a barrier,
I need to get past,
I’ve tried and tried, Lord,
Yet my failure seems cast.
I cannot overcome,
These obstacles alone,
I need you blessed Jesus,
To reach what You have shown.
Inner feelings darken,
The light upon the way,
Wipe the blinders from my eyes,
Help me choose the words I say.
Give me wisdom Father,
To try just one more time,
To clear the barrier I face,
As this troublesome path, I climb.
T hank You blessed Jesus,
For reaching down to me,
Lifting me with loving hands,
To the place, I longed to be.
I owe it all to You Lord,
Such love given so free,
Without You blessed Savior,
Lost for eternity I would be.
