Dear Jesus, do
you hear my plea?
I'm calling to you down on my knees,
Will you whisper to me and let me know,
How you are beside me where ever I go,
God promised to wrap me in His blanket of love,
So I need never to worry or fret,
His arms of mercy is extended out to me,
It was on the cross, He paid my debt.
Lord when I look into the beautiful sky,
I just feel so close to You,
For I know You have gone to prepare,
A home in heaven that, I can share.
I won't linger in this valley,
I'll stay closer to my Lord,
The tears that have dimmed my eyes,
Will bring me someday to the skies.
God's highway of Holiness leads to home,
All sorrow and sighing will flee away,
Jesus says, Come into the ark come unto me,
There is plenty of room for the family.
One day we'll stand before our King,
Praying we'll enter into His holy place,
What will we have to bring to Him?
While we gaze upon His lovely face.
