These colorful characters like clowns,
Have playful personalities,
That go along with their bigger size,
And love attention, love to tease.

They’re so bright and beautiful from God,
High-spirited and riotous,
Colorful characters, parrots talk,
Laugh all times, even when nervous.

They will and do make wonderful pets,
With discipline and toys to chew,
Because they’re easily bored offhand,
Wooden things are best to make do.

Colorful characters, parrots screech,
Charm and noise is part of these birds,
Social creatures they need to show off,
So someone will speak lots of words.

They love to mimic and vocalize,
Try anything to have you share,
Will give great affection to have yours,
And demand your love and your care.

Emotions of parrots are quite strong,
Need nurtured through terrible twos,
Prone to fits and tantrums like a child,
Get attention and toys for chews.

These colorful characters are clowns,
And bright and beautiful to please,
Talk, sing tunes, loving to hear themselves,
Will live sixty years with great ease.
