As I sit and gaze upon the sky
My thoughts slip back in time,
Of the beauty that God gave us
Full of splendor so divine.

I watch a beaver swimming along
So peaceful; not making a sound.
I listen to the birds singing away
With no one only me around.

All around you can see it
And feel such love and peace
That was designed by God Himself
A beauty never to cease.

A butterfly pitches close to me
With colors all galore,
Landing gently on a flower
Like so many times before.

This beauty truly amazes me
The flowers and the trees.
The wind is softly blowing on me
With such a gentle breeze.

Thank You God for this beauty
That You offer us so free.
May we always be reminded Lord
That this beauty comes from Thee.
