This afternoon as a brisk wind began to blow,
It was proof to me that fall is here to stay.
The leaves on sycamore trees are turning golden,
It was such a lovely day.

There is rain now in our forecast,
This makes for a restful night?
As rain drops splash against the window,
And lightening streaks across the sky.

I love the different seasons,
But fall and winter most of all.
When leaves cover the ground like lovely carpet,
And snowflakes begin to fall.

What a beautiful world we live in,
And was a gift, totally free to man.
The stars and moon and all the galaxies hang there,
Supported only by God’s hands.

Teach the little children,
How the world all came to be.
Not by evolution of monkeys and such,
Or Amebas from the sea.

God said He made us in His likeness,
Proclaimed it in His word.
To deny Him how we came to be,
Is denying His love for us,
And all about Him, that we have ever heard.
