Transactional prayer is a great exercise
Thanking God before things come to pass
For those who believe there’s no doubt or surprise
How God moves when we’ve run out of gas

It’s not just the times we are lost or afraid
But in everyday things that occur
Like the socks or the keys or a bills that we’ve paid
As they vanish in yesterday’s blur

When the dinner goes cold and the company’s late
And the dog rips a hole in the couch
Just remember that God is still mighty and great
All His words and His actions will vouch

We need to get back to the Lord in our hearts
With passion and power and praise
We need to take hold of the grace He imparts
For a Faith that will strengthen our days

God needs to be first in all that we do
He fills every cup to the brim
He’s Savior and Master and all that is true
We need to surrender to Him

There is never a need that the Lord can’t supply
He’s knows what is best for our lives
So when we are struggling or spiritually dry
God’s goodness and mercy arrives

So right in this moment we give You our thanks
We rejoice in the things You will do
We count it a privilege to serve in Your ranks
We Worship And Glorify You !!!
