A Tribute To Dads

To awesome Daddies everywhere
This tribute is for you
You are the men who love and care
And value what is true

You stand for what is good and right
And seek to do your best
Where there is darkness you are light
The lives you touch are blessed

You set the pace and reach the goal
You lead by your example
The King of Kings lives in your soul
His strength is more than ample

Your children want to be like you
Your footsteps they will follow
In all you do, you see it through
Like Lovell in Apollo

His spacecraft took a mighty blow
His oxygen was leaking
And yet around the moon he’d go
With Houston he was speaking

The crew aboard got safely back
A miracle was seen
They did their job and stayed on track
These men of Flight Thirteen

And Dads as well must stay on course
And hold the standard high
And fight with might the winds of force
Like eagles when they fly

So much depends on Dad you see
Their job is like no other
The kids agree, here lies the key
Their Daddy loves their Mother !!!
