I'm now entering
the Land of Canaan!
I've left Egypt far behind!
And I have complete deliverance,
In my heart and in my mind!
The many years I served old satan,
I was his favorite slave.
Ah, but then I heard about King Jesus,
And His mighty power to save!
So, I fell down at the altar,
And confessed my every sin.
I opened up my heart to Jesus,
And cried, "Lord, please come in!"
Since that night I've been so happy!
I'm saved and there's no doubt!
When I remember where He found me,
Is it any wonder I sing and shout?
You see my life is so different now!
It is wonderful to be free!
Jesus took the heavy load,
Of sins that burdened me!
He cast my sins behind His back,
Never to be remembered any more!
Then, He prepared me a mansion,
On Heaven's blissful shore!
