Bended Knee
Lord to You we come on bended knee
Claiming a closer communion with thee
Lord keep me loving, patient and kind,
Precious Lord, You are always on time.
Lord we are kneeling in your presence
To ask for strength for each new day
We want to tell you that we love you,
You are the life, the truth, the way.
Give us wisdom to understand your word
Teach us to be faithful, trust and obey
Leaning upon you Jesus daily we pray.
So we may help others, find their way,
Lord we pray, "Let my heart feel
A strong desire to do your will
To speak to others so they will hear,
Our God is faithful, do not fear.
Lord, is it too much to ask ?
For Your holy Spirit to whisper again
For we do not always understand,
Hold me Jesus, by your mighty hand.
I pray dear Lord, that I will be
The Christian to speak your unity
You created me to show your love,
Today and throughout, Eternity.
