I am Jesus, your
beloved
An humble King for all to believe
Please take some time for Me
Oh, how I suffered there
In the garden of Gethsemane
My sweat became as great drops of blood
While you were sleeping
I was kneeled in prayer weeping
All the pain and shame I endured
Was for you because I care
~ Please will you watch with Me ~
For just one hour?
Many are shut in, alone and in despair
May you show Me that you care
Please give a short visit
Sing a song or two or
Say some words in prayer

Mother's hands are feeble
Her footsteps are getting slow
So many hours she spends alone
It seems her life has lost its glow
Maybe today a loved one
Will pass and visit there

Grandpa's work is nearing an end
His farm is dwindling away
How happy he would be
To hear someone say
"Is there anything I can do
Or help in any way?"
"Would you like for me to hoe a row
Or have some seed I may sow?"
Please show a loved one that you care

For just one hour?
If today you should be blessed
And no pain has came your way
If there's food on your table
And shoes on your feet
And a beggar or traveler you may meet
Please do a good deed to show you care

For just one hour?
On the Sabbath ~
May My name be declared
In church, in worship there
May sinners be told of My love
And My strength that I share
That I am meek and lowly in heart
And on Me they can cast their care
~ Please will you watch with Me ~
For just one hour?
For I am Jesus your Savior
I came and died for you
My words that I speak are true
On the third and appointed morning
I arose from the new tomb
I'm now seated on heavens throne
For each kind deed you do to those I love
You do unto Me and show you care
~ Please come and watch with Me ~
For just one eternal hour.
