"In
Memory"
It is time again to pay respect
To the ones, that paid their due
That bravely gave their lives
For others . . . Like me and you
With heavy hearts we visit them
At a place, we’d rather they "Not Be"
To pay homage and respect . . .
In giving of lives, To keep us free
The flags fly, the banners wave
Wreaths rest on graves . . . Everywhere
A small token of our thankfulness
Expressing how much . . . We care
Let’s never forget, our men at war
Their lives, that they laid down
Battling on ground, or as Jets soar
They deserve praise and . . . Renown
Ever courageous and so very brave
Our soldiers, are remembered today
That Fought for right and freedom
To protect their . . . U.S.A!
