I Know That You Are Near

When I look up at the stars
That shine so bright at night
I try to pick one just for You
That sparkles with delight.

In my heart You are my Star
That glows so far up high,
Sometimes I try to reach You
For You fill my heart with joy.

When my days are full of sorrow
I feel You watching up there,
And guiding all my footsteps
Because I know You care.

The days that I feel so weary
And nights I feel such pain.
I look up towards the heavens
And I see You sparkle again.

You give me strength to carry on
