At Mount
Calvary
Jesus died one
dark day at
Calvary
His side was
pierced for
you and me,
A heavy cross,
beneath the
load He fell,
For me, His
precious blood
was spilt.
Jesus died so
new life He
brings
His arms is
spread, the
time is now,
Hallelujah,
now He sits
around the
throne,
Soon He'll
return to
bring us home.
A crown of
thorns upon
His head was
placed
Soldiers
mocked Him and
spit into His
face,
The nails was
driven into
His hands and
feet,
He bore the
bitter pain
with Love so
sweet.
The third day,
He arose from
the grave
For lost
souls, He
wanted to
save,
He shed His
blood to set
men free,
Jesus my Lord,
Won the
Victory.
Today, He is
heavens holy
Majesty
He sits at the
right hand of
the Father,
He is worthy
of our highest
praise,
The Lamb of
God, He took
my place.
My desire is
to stay close
to my Lord
Because of His
love and grief
He bore,
He cried from
the cross for
me and you,
Forgive them,
they know not
what they do!
