An artist has a special eye,
And on God they do rely.
A true talent He has given.
From their soul they are driven.
To other countries they may fly,
To paint what they see with their artist's eye.
Or they may cross the Arabian Sea,
Just to paint a certain tree.
The walls of their artist's retreat,
May hold paintings of the elite.
Ladies in bonnets from yesteryear,
Pushing strollers with babes so dear.
A President's face, or a beggar on the street.
They're all there for you to greet.
Easels, paints, brushes, and more,
A wonderful smell as you walk through the door!
Beautiful flowers ~ all colors and kinds,
Brings a sweet fragrance to your mind.
Picnics down by the old river mill.
The lady in the boat has much appeal.
