Alone With Jesus

I want to be alone with Jesus,
And tell Him how I feel.
And tell Him just how much I love Him,
When by my bed I kneel.

I want to tell my Savior,
How lost I know I'd be,
Had He not shed His blood for me,
On the cross of Calvary.

I want to be alone with Jesus,
Where no one can distract,
And tell Him how I miss Him,
When faith in Him I lack.

When I'm alone with Jesus,
It thrills my heart to say,
How I love Him for all He’s done,
All along life’s way.

And just to say how much He means to me,
For His protection through the storms,
And by His grace and love for me,
He keeps me from all harm.
