Therefore I Turn To You

Once in a while I wonder why,
Things happen as they do,
There are times I can’t understand,
Therefore I turn to You.

You’re always near to answer Lord,
Helping me search all through,
Scriptures of love with Your wisdom,
Therefore I turn to You.

Once in a while I wonder why,
Healings don’t come in view,
Then again You have many ways,
Therefore I turn to You.

You’ve said we’re healed by Jesus’ stripes,
And I know Your miracles too,
There are those who never receive,
Therefore I turn to You.

Once in a while I wonder why,
Truths of some are not true,
Not believing in You's such grief,
Therefore I turn to You.

Sometimes life isn’t so easy,
And with tears I pray too,
I agonize o’er dear lost ones,
Therefore I turn to You.

Once in a while when wondering,
I always Praise You too,
You know I love You so much Lord,
That’s why I turn to You.
