Some Glorious Daybreak

Some sweet glorious daybreak,
The trumpet is going to sound.
All the trials I suffer now,
I will leave them on this ground.
The tears and sorrows I had to cry,
I won't shed them any more,
For I am going to a city,
On that bright eternal shore.

My sorrows I will leave behind,
I won't need them there,
For I will be an angel then,
And angels have no tears.
I will sing new songs of praise,
And dance around God's throne.
My soul will be so happy,
Because I am finally home!

But until then I will bear my cross,
Until Jesus sets it free,
Because He carried His cross for me,
That day at Calvary.
