My Sweet Loving Lord
 

My Loving Lord I bow in Your divine presence,
I give to You my blackened heart of sin,
I plea sweet wonderful Jesus,
Please in this sinful heart enter in.

Take away all the things that are unpleasant to You,
Blow to the wind impurities of mortal thoughts in kind,
Place in its stead love, forgiveness and kindness Father,
Let the essence of Your divine spirit flow through my mind.

Fill every cell of my being, make me whole and pure,
Let me shine as a beacon of the lighthouse in the night,
Leading others to the port of safety in Your arms,
Ceasing the wandering soul in a worldly sin's plight.

Let me be Your clay; oh precious Potter,
Shape this child to be what You desire,
Give me a touch of divine wisdom Lord,
Through me; let Your work transpire.
