~ An Hour With You~

My Mother, my friend she will always be,
Throughout this life, and all eternity.
Her loving smile, brightens my day,
She is the love of my life, what else could I say.

This gift of "Love" she continues to share,
There's never a moment when she doesn't care.
Her hands so soft, and so very tender,
Her hugs will warm you, no matter the weather.

As a child I could not see,
All the sacrifices she has made for me.
And now that I'm older, it's plain to see,
Without her...where would I be?

Through all the laughter and all the tears,
We've shared so much throughout the years.
We have this closeness, and a special bond,
More precious than words, or any song.

My Mother I see standing next to me,
Is the woman I'm so longing to be.
For she is my "Angel", sent from above,
She is my Mother, that I dearly love!
