More Precious Than Silver And Gold

God gives us our family and wonderful friends
More precious than silver and gold
And yet above all, is the love He extends
When He welcomes us into the fold

He came and He offered us mercy and grace
He healed us and we were made whole
Our hearts were just thrilled by His tender embrace
As His Spirit brought peace to our soul

So today things are different, we walk in the Light
We choose to bring glory to God
We seek Him in earnest, in Him we delight
We’re excited and joyful and awed

There’s still much to do in the time that’s ahead
We need to reach out to the lost
To see that they’re nurtured, they’re loved and they’re fed
Whatever the effort or cost

For when folks in this world see the Lord in our heart
And they find Him in all that we do
They reach for a joy that will never depart
And a Life that’s Eternal and New

So value the things that will last evermore
In a way that is precious and planned
Let your riches be seen in the God you adore
As The Master takes hold of your hand !!!
