~ An Hour With You~

 I'll always remember
Your sweet smile,
And how you made my
Life seem worthwhile.

How you taught me
From a small child,
The worth and value
Of a spirit that's mild.

You always looked out
For Sis and me.
Gave your love and life,
That was easy to see.

You took such good
Care of our needs,
And taught us of our sin.
You planted the seeds.

They took root, and because
Of your tender care,
We look forward to
Being with you up there.

I miss the long talks
We had so often
The tears we shed
As our hearts did soften

Holidays we all spent together
Will never be the same.
The Christmas plays we had at church,
Celebrating the day that Jesus came.

But you know Momma, most of all
I miss your sweet embrace.
There'll never be another
That will take your place.

~Yes Momma, I remember you~
