I Thank You
Dear Father
how I love You and,
So much I'd like to say.
I thank You for the Season,
Of this Thanksgiving Day.
So many memories flood my mind,
Of Thanksgivings long gone past.
I wish for moments back in time,
So I could make them last.
Thank you for being a Loving God,
That we can turn to each day.
In the times we need You so,
All we need to do is pray.
No greater blessings I have known,
Than the friends I hold so dear.
And I thank You for their friendship,
That is shown all through the year
I thank You for enduring love,
That each day and hour bring.
But most of all for Jesus,
And for the cross I cling.
