Hour With You~   Down the
lane and around the bend,
You will find yourself where I have been.
I have walked this lane many times,
Yet there are e'er new pleasures I find.
New families moving near,
In homes built with loving care,
Children playing, hearts so free,
Happily race their neighbors to see.
Moms and dads raking leaves,
Hats, gloves, and rolled up sleeves,
Leaves piled in different arrays,
Here come the children ready to play.
Leaves go flying all around,
Children jumping up and down.
A little doggie jumps in too,
Childhood memories in review.
B-B-Q's smoking meat on the grill,
Hungry tummies food will soon fill,
Families gather ready to eat,
An outside meal a favorite treat.
Love and happiness along the lane,
Walk with me, you'll come back again.
Peace and serenity along the way,
Cherished blessing I find each day.
