Alabaster Statue Alabaster statues placed here and there Lovingly chiseled , molded with grace Each posed in stance, with artistic flare A masterpiece, with an Aristocratic face What was the Artist thinking... as he created This beautiful work of art....so fair Would It gain the entrance of a museum, over rated Or collect dust, in a storage room..... somewhere It makes me think of God and His creation....... All the time and Love He gave Lovingly molding, for life eternal Caring so much, He went to His grave His creation of us, a work perfected A Labor of love, As He placed us here Not unlike .....The Alabaster statue Some lack appreciation, some don’t care!
