~ An Hour With You~

He's always giving her a nudge or poke,
She's a victim of his every joke.
He trips her as she walks by;
She rises with a tear in her eye.

But she brushes it away,
In hopes there will be a better day.
He unties her sash, and pulls her hair,
And pushes her down, because of a dare.

But once in awhile, he presents her with a rose,
And a piece of paper where he's written some prose.
And down on his knees he smiles up into her eyes
She bends over to smell the rose, and bids him to rise.

Yes that's what makes every offence okay.
She just figures boys are made that way.
Already God has instilled in her mind,
To be forgiving and also to be kind.

Ephesians 4: 32
And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted,
forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's
sake hath forgiven you.
