Rest my angel always on God,
Sleep High on Celestial Love,
At all times He’s waiting for you,
Peacefully seek His Reach thereof.

Sleep upon the brushed clouds of God,
Under His blanket of bright stars,
In turn a soothing peace comforts,
Each heavenly twinkle lasts hours.

Oh Rest my angel upon God,
And let His moon be your nightlight,
Priceless soft glows will surround you,
In His sweet tender love thus bright.

Sleep as heavenly dew’s condensed,
Forming little streamlets that flow,
Carrying God’s golden nectar,
From your head to tips of your toes.

Rest my angel in God's garden,
Underneath His mantle of love,
Marvels of His Divine healing,
Will spread o’er and through from Above.

Yes, sleep softly while the angels’ wings,
Slowly caress your heart and soul,
Relinquish your all to our Lord,
Believe, receive, and be made whole.
