Love is a rose,
Petals folding,
As love layers,
Senses holding.

Arms close,
Hearts burn,
Lips touch,
Souls yearn.

Sweet scent,
Envelops all,
Lost in love,
Senses enthrall.

Eyes awaken,
Ears hear,
Emotions plunder,
Bodies near.

Hearts united,
Love holds,
Sweet knowledge,
Actions bold.

Continued longing,
Infinity to last,
Hearts in love,
Time to clasp.

Love is a rose,
Always to stay,
Hearts rewarded,
Forever and a day.
