Hello
sweet Jesus,
I love your touch,
I know you love me Lord,
I love you too, so much.
There is such comfort,
Inside your gentle loving arms,
My little heart is happy,
You protect me from harm.
Others may leave me,
But you always stay,
In my heart I feel you,
You are here every day.
When I cry myself to sleep,
You gently lift me up high,
You hold me in your arms,
While contentedly I sigh.
I am glad you come each day,
And hold me ever so close to you,
Without you gentle loving Father,
Forever I would be alone and blue.
You coming back again today,
To take me home with you?
Then I will never be sad,
Or afraid of being alone too.
I am ready now Jesus,
Anytime is fine with me,
Then I won't be any trouble,
They'll be happier now you see.
I am waiting gentle Father,
I'm all packed and ready to go,
I have my tattered teddy bear,
The angels I want to show.
I will skip upon the clouds,
And down a rainbow glide,
When I am getting sleepy,
Onto your lap I'll slide.
I'm waiting Jesus, You ready yet?
This house is empty once more,
They have all gone and left me,
I wasn't asleep and heard the closing door.
