~ An Hour With You~

My voice shalt thou hear in the morning.
O LORD; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee,
and will look up.

Psalm 5:3

Deep inside... Is an aching
I try to pretend ... Isn’t there
Slowly my heart is breaking
Each day, it’s harder to bear

Salty tears roll down my cheek
I look heavenward and sigh...
My joy is gone, I feel so weak
How much longer can I try

Please, please make me stronger
My cry to God is always the same
I can’t stand the hurt, much longer
Making me feel downcast and lame

I’ll carry you through this valley
A voice said from ....Deep within
Rest in my arms, lean on me
Until sweet joy returns again......

So I looked up toward heaven
And wiped my tear rimmed eyes
Confident, the Lord will be there
As I face each new ........Sunrise
