Mothers are special and oh so kind She binds the wounds and dries the tears God gave to each a special gift, A gift to treasure through the years! A Mother who was always kept busy Making sure her children were warm and fed Looking after all the household things, To God at night her children she did bring! Mothers always seek God for guidance To do the right and abstain from wrong When we need her, she was always there, She found strength, talking to God in prayer! Mothers watch us grow up in years Praying always for our best Our days of childhood we remember, And hold the memories of the best! Mother taught, Now I lay me down to sleep I pray to God my soul to keep Those words we learned at Mothers knee, Will bless our lives throughout eternity! There is no love like a Mother's love She holds her children's heart so dear A mother's love is kind and strong, She wipes away that falling tear! We pass this love on to our Children So it will last throughout the years We'll teach and train and share with others, And give God thanks for praying Mothers! To the Mothers, gone just one step ahead I pray you are enjoying streams of grace To Mothers and Ladies who are still living, Trust you are waiting to see His lovely face! "I AM A MOTHER" I thank God that He choose me to be a Mother to two beautiful boys....Jerry & Junior, who are both Christian dads today, and I'm so proud of them and their family. I too taught my children about Jesus and to love each other. God gave us children to teach and train and serve the Lord. Children grow up and make homes of their own, but a part of a Mother's Heart goes with them forever!
