Seeking to find Peace; to each new day I wake,
Trusting in God’s Promise; my sins, I forsake;
Pleading His Blessings over all that I Love.
Raising my Praises to the Heaven’s above.

Breezes flutter the newest of leaves,
Soft sunlight plays across sprouts of wheat
The earth warms the roots growing silent below.
Life’s bursting forth much quicker than I know.

Forgiveness too, sprouts in the depths of my soul.
Humbling myself; as my own faults take their toll.
Teach me to forgive as I have been forgiven,
Guide me in Your Love, let my steps lead toward Heaven.

Grant me Your Kindness, Lord, help me to be
Generous, compassionate, caring and free
Of any thought save those of Your Direction.
Keep those I love in Your Perfect Protection.

Teach me the words You would want me to say.
Let simple Kindness be the thought of the day.
Walk with me Lord, on every path I must trod.
Grant me the Peace that only comes from God.
