The sun arose o'er
the mountain,
And I saw an angel standing there.
She was adorned in heavenly beauty
Like none I could e'er compare.
I widened my eyes and stared,
Toward the angelic beauty of the day,
That is when I realized it was you,
Sending precious love my way.
A sound as of the wind came to me,
Spanning the distance from the peaks,
I hear the softest melodic voice,
Of God's love gloriously speak,
I listened as the words filtered,
Floating like a feather through the air,
Reminding me of my precious Father,
And the Home of which I am an heir.
I cried out unto the beautiful angel,
Standing upon the mountain's side,
You're the voice for the one that leads me,
Surely in heaven, one day I'll reside.
I will take up permanent residence,
In my heavenly home for e'ermore,
Tell the Master I am walking the path,
I'll greet you on the celestial shore.
