~ An
Hour With You~
The year was 1892
Her life would soon start anew.
She came from across the sea,
A refined English Lady was she.
In God she didn't believe,
She was being deceived.
The enemy kept her blind
Kept her heart entwined.
To America she did come
Not knowing God and His Wisdom.
She would meet Him there,
And begin her lifelong affair.
A cowboy was he,
Hardworking and friendly.
Never expecting to meet his love,
That God was preparing from above.
He loved God and man,
Working long hours upon the land.
A witness of God, to all,
Loving life and having a ball.
She stormed into his life one day
Taking his breath and heart away.
God used his witness to open her eyes,
Into her heart their love did arise.
They were entwined throughout their life
She willingly became his loving wife.
The children that were given them to raise,
Were as they were, sweet bouquets.
When they were called to their final home
They left this earth ne'er more to roam.
They left behind a witness so bright,
As they had always been a guiding light.

Scripture from Matthew 5:
Let your light so shine before men, that
they may see your good works, and glorify
your Father which is in heaven.
