Walking In The Footsteps Of Jesus

Though the darkness swirls around me,
I do not walk this path alone,
If I walk in the footsteps of Jesus,
I will surely make it home.

I am sure I will stumble on my travel,
Because satan, always lurks around,
To try to trip me up, when I’m weary,
And he will always try to bring me down.

But as I walk in His footsteps daily,
I know I can win the battleground,
For with Jesus in my life as my Savior,
I am sure that someday I will win a crown.

Walking in the footsteps of my Savior,
Gets better with each new passing day,
For I have found a Friend I can lean on,
And I thank Him for His blessings everyday.
