One summer evening, was the middle of the night
I awoke to see such a wonderful sight
I was in a garden with flowers all around
A prettier sight, never to be found

Many little birds flying in and out
Some with colored wings, some without
A pretty little brook with a bridge above
Never in one place had I felt so much love

So beautiful it was, it had to be
How sad it is that all couldn't see
Then back in my bed, I awoke again
Remembering the beauty where I had been
