Thank You For This Day Lord

This day is almost over now,
Darkness fills the air,
Another day of blessings,
For everyone to share.

Thank You Lord for allowing me,
To get through another day,
And to share my blessings,
That You have sent my way.

Thank You for each new friend,
That You have allowed me to meet,
Thank You for the precious friends,
That I have in my heart to keep.

Thank You Lord for the kindness,
Of friends I hold so dear,
Thank You for their love Lord,
And thank You for their cheer.

Thank You for allowing me Lord,
Your comfort and Your peace,
Thank You for the valley days,
For my faith to grow and increase.

Thank You Lord for the sunshine,
Thank You for Your love,
I thank You Lord for everything,
That comes down from You above.
