Riding Through the Storm

Riding through the storm
Dodging all the obstacles in your path
Seeking protection from danger
While driving in a powerful downpour

Angels standing along the road
Trying to protect everyone they love
Who is riding through this terrible storm
People sometimes not realizing the risk

Life is like riding through the storm
Sometimes not realizing the danger
That can erupt in someone’s life
At a most unexpected time

Angels swarming around protecting
God’s loved ones with their presence
Trying to show them God’s care
His great unconditional love

Giving them enough strength in themselves
To ride through the storms of life
Like riding through a thunderstorm
Being protected by God’s angels

As we are protected in our storms
By our undying faith and love
God and his Angels are with us
Riding through the storm
