Lord, I Now Need Your Light
Can You see
the darkness I'm in,
Feel the anger of me ignite,
I know if I ask You'll help me,
Oh my Lord, I now need Your Light.
Do You see the candle’s not lit,
Even though foul fumes are reeking,
Forgive this stench I’ve sadly cast,
Lord, it’s so dark I’m Light seeking.
Can You see I don’t understand,
Feel the anger at times roaring,
I’m sorry Oh forgive me now,
Lord, I now need Your Light soaring.
Do You see I need perspective,
Enlighten my view Yes I’ll see,
You know all things and aren’t surprised,
I need help, restore Light to me.
Can you see I still love You Lord,
Feel my anger fall calling You,
Oh Jesus You’re crying with me,
Lord, I now need Your Light, I do.
Do You see Lord I love You more,
Feel my love cling to You e’er tight,
I thank You for Your forgiveness,
Lord, thank You for Redeeming Light.
