When you’re sad and lonely
Sitting somewhere all alone
Thinking no one loves you
Let me be your wings

When the world brings problems
You can’t handle on your own
Just sit down and rest your heart
Remember I want to be your wings

If someone unjustly hurts you
Then leaves you full of pain
Reach out for my love and friendship
I promise I will be your wings

I know I am not an angel
Not perfect in any way
But I know I love you, my friend
I’ll support you in every way

So when life is running smoothly
Love and laughter fills the air
Surrounded by your loved ones
Your happiness I’ll share

Just remember if you need me
I’m someone who really cares
My friendship is unconditional
