Lord let me be a light, Not a dim glow of your love, But a bright beacon for you, Guiding others to the throne above. Each day when I awaken, In prayer I'll greet the day, Giving you praise for blessings, Asking for guidance along the way. Let my works, sweet Jesus, Speak clearly of Your Name, Help my footprints lead, To fields of fruitful gain.
