Sweet angel now sleeping,
Eyes closed to the night,
But dreams are seeking,
To escape into the light.

Little fairies from daydreams,
Play in dreams of the night,
Bringing smiles to a sleeping face,
What a wonderful sight.

In and out the window,
Across the child on the bed,
Darting near and far,
Caution they have shed.

What a merry time they have,
Playing along with the dream,
Coming alive to fly around,
In pale moonlight beams.

Each carries a wand,
With magical fairy dust,
A bag filled with wishes,
The fairies can adjust.

They fill the dream world,
With happiness and glee,
Then in the morning light,
Ever so hastily they flee.
