~ An Hour With You~







I see the beauty in the night,
Each time I look at you,
I feel so alive by your presence,
We are blessed with a love true.

As you lay sleeping next to me,
I gaze o'er your comforting face,
You are as the precious rose,
In full bloom's ever gentle grace.

The eyes now closed in sleep,
Give loving glances e'er sweet,
When you look intently upon me,
As kisses your lips slowly seek.

I pray the Lord will preserve,
The beauty I see in the night,
Keeping you safe from all harm,
In your presence I reap delight.

Oh cherished rose of my heart,
May your love continually unfold,
You are my heart's desired treasure,
Worth more than diamonds or gold.

When I walk through the garden,
I see the stately, majestic rose,
Recalling the chosen of my life,
Through which love thus flows.

Thank God for the one He gave,
A cherished mate I e'er adore,
My own "Beauty Of The Night",
The beat of my heart evermore.
