I dreamed of an alluring place;
Enchantment whisked on the wind.
Nature's soft breath whistled
the chorus of autumn leaves.

The cerulean October sky loomed
above dahlia mountainous palisades
and the rhythmically swaying aspen,
as sparrows joined the seasonal chorus.

I rested near a rushing stream;
Sunbeams glistened on the water.
The golden leaves of Fall
drifted on the swift currents.

Peacefulness overflowed,
encouraging me to smile;
yet, loneliness overtook me,
for I longed to be with you.

I ran through the trees
calling out your name.
You somehow heard my cry,
for you came to me.

You held me in your arms
and wiped away my tears,
as you gently murmured,
"I'll never leave you alone."

As your lips brushed mine,
I began to expectantly moan.
Tremors ran down my spine,
as your love satisfied my soul.

Basking in the warmth of our love,
we lift our eyes to the mountains.
We know our love is Heaven sent;
like the mountains, it remains strong.
