~An Hour With You~

With My Thoughts


All alone in my room with my thoughts...
can't keep 'em from coming they just wont stop.

On my treadmill I do walk...
to clear my head and pump my heart.

Hoping God hears my silent prayers...
as sometimes I'm filled with such despair !

Please hear me, please help me, show me the way...
make me a better person and guide the way.

Fill my heart with kindness and good...
help me to live the way that I should.

Take away all my anger and pain...
as sometimes it fills me and I think it's gonna kill me !

All alone in my room with my thoughts...
tear drops fall as I stare at the wall
as sometimes in this world I feel so small.

On my treadmill I do walk...
all alone with God I sometimes talk.

Hoping I'm heard all though I haven't said a word...
thinking if I had... would it sound absurd.

Hear me, help me, show me the way...
make me a better person this I pray.
