Did you ever see the tears on a rose
Tears falling from its soft gentle petals
Gently blowing to and fro
In the soft morning and evening air

Mourning the loss of someone's love
For the red rose is the gentle rose of love
When love fails the red rose weeps in pain
Gentle tears falling for the sadness
In the hearts of man

Please stop when you see a red rose
Touch its soft gentle petals and feel its tears
For the tears on a rose are the tears
Of those who have lost the one they love
