~An Hour With You~

The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? -Psalm 27:1

Shrimper Man

Oh, Shrimper man what are your needs?
Your heart tosses as a turbulent sea,
Heartaches crash pain upon its walls,
You reach out in the misty night to me.

There is no beacon shining down,
To guide your ship this night,
You hold all that is so dear to you,
While sailing without might.

You face the stormy seas with faith,
That you can the squall out race,
The sails are broken from the wind,
Your ship's dire perils you face.

Faith unknown to many men,
Lead you onward to safety's shore,
Stalwart in your journey's end,
You're more confident than before.

You have overcome battles,
Survived hurtful attacks,
You kept your faith through it all,
Your faith you kept intact.

Safe inside the harbor,
Ship firmly moored to the quay,
A glow from the lighthouse,
All your fears vanished today.
