Roses On My Pillow

He puts roses on my pillow
To show me how much he cares
He says the roses remind him
Of the gentleness and love that we share

The petals are the softness
Of a gentle kiss upon my cheek
An aroma so soft and sweet
It almost makes me feel weak

The roses remind me of his gentle, sweet love
Which I know was sent to us
From Heaven up above
