Quiet Moments

I need to spend some quiet moments
With my Savior and my Lord
Sometimes I know its best
That I don't even say a word

Just to sit with him
And listen to what he has to say
So I can feel better
At the end of a long, long day

Just to let him hug me
And hold me extra tight
He makes me feel secure
Even in the middle of the night

He tells me don't be afraid
For I have suffered and died for you
Sometimes my life is hectic
Its like a big old Merry-go-round

When it is my Savior
Tells me to stop and slow down
So I stop and I listen
Because my heart tells me

That is what I should do
For my Soul needs to have a loving
Quiet Moment with my Savior my Lord
